VW Literature!
Here are a few samples of my small VW literature collection...

The color chart below is a fold-out chart with paint, interior, convertible top and seat colors offered in 1964/65. The bug is on the front, the Ghia is on the back. I believe these were available as hand-outs back in 1964/65 to prospective buyers - at the dealerships. To it's right is the Service Book #1, and Service Book #2 below. Both circa 1964.
The 4th picture is an Original Volkswagen invoice. I have no idea what year it might have been used in. Next, the 1964 VW 1200 owner's manual, followed by a maintenance service sticker for the windshield (not sure what year it might be from).
The next three are scans from "The Origin and Evolution of the VW Beetle" - printed in 1985.
This is one of three old books my wife recently found in an old box. I didn't even realize I had them. This book in particular is one of the best VW books I have ever seen. It has tons of OLD pictures and information. I checked Amazon.com - it is still available. I would highly recommend it to those of you interested in the evolution and history of the bug!

This book below is another one my wife found...I haven't ever seen one of these before. It is a book comprised of mostly original cartoons and anecdotes about the VW bug. The inside cover page says "Compliments of your VW dealer". Date stamped 1967.

This is an excellent brochure describing the changes for the 1964/1965 bug. It is dated 8/64, so the changes would be primarily for the 1965 model year. It is in near mint condition, and has many large, full-color pages. I'll put it up for sale, since it doesn't really pertain to my early 1964. It would be a great addition to somebody's 1965 collection.
